The origin of my work is closely related with the studies of human conditions and it is through

these observations that I meet myself and myself-expression. I believe that art flourishes

at the moment of human encounter where we come face to face with our true self.

I attempt to focus on the space that inhabits a pause whether this exists intentionally or unintentionally.

This kind of concentration helps me embody my emotional states more expressively.

I consider my work a mindful and conscious journey, acknowledging at the same

time its delicate and sometimes illusive importance.

I work in mostly oils and acrylics, I also work with textiles and ink. I welcome challenge and

adore the variety nature has to offer, linking some facts and rejecting others.

I have discovered subjects but they have also discovered me.

Inspired by the fine details of William Morris’s textiles, Theater and dance lead and inspire me.

Then all these come together to form a narrative for a new canvas. A weight of a gesture in space,

the principles of dance movement and the way in which light and space interact with the shadows

on the human form never cease to disappoint me.  Recurring images in my subconscious form

a kind of shorthand until I bring them to the canvas to metamorphosis into a visual language.
